I just moved to Ottawa after several years in Montreal. And I gotta say, I'm not used to paying $1,200 for a bachelor apartment. The thought of spending all my paycheque paying for a tiny condo room doesn't seem very appealing either.

Is there anyone like me still out there, looking for a chill and fun living situation in their early 30s that still gives the option of putting away a decent amount of money in savings?
My goal is to find one or two people to share a really nice place in the Glebe, Centertown, downtown or somewhere not too far. Like one of those old apartments with hardwood floors, lots of light, maybe the floor creaks a bit but it's clean and cosy.
About me, I am 31, female, working fulltime downtown. I don't smoke, and only drink occasionally. I am queer-friendly, anti racist, feminist but pretty chill about everything if that makes sense. I am Canadian, white and straight but always trying to expand my perspective to realize not everyone experiences the world in this privileged stance, and enjoy having many close friendships with people who were not born here.
My partner lives out of town and will be staying with me for at least one weekend per month.
I like rock climbing, hiking, classical music, cooking. I am pretty quiet normally but I'd like to find some semi like-minded people to share a place where we can occasionally hang out. I don't mind where you are from or what your gender is as long as we can respect each other and get along and hopefully have some laughs along the way.
Please write to me if you're interested and let me know a bit about yourself.
